For over 11 years Flo Schell has been bringing strong knowledge, a high level of integrity, and the enthusiasm to make a difference to her coaching and mentoring clients.
Following an early career in Education, Flo transitioned to a 16 year career as a corporate sales executive with Sylvan Learning Systems. She then founded her own coaching and mentoring businesses: Franchise Coaching Systems and the No. 1 Mentoring Agency.
Flo's style is open, caring, and confident and is based on all that she's learned from her life and work. Flo has achieved the distinction of Coachville Certified Coach and Certified Comprehensive Sales Coach.
She is also certified by Jean Houston to teach the program 'Initiation of the Sage: a journey of transition from where we are now to what we are about to become'.
In the corporate venue, Flo has been recognized for her relationship approach to business. She has been featured in Success Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, and Franchise Update Magazine.
While serving in a visible sales management position with Sylvan Learning Systems, Inc., Flo was named one of three 'Franchise Superstars of the Year in America' by the national publication, Franchise Update Magazine. That same year, she was featured in Success Magazine’s cover story, 'Sylvan Learning Centers Earns Top Honors'
In the franchising world, Flo has overseen the growth of hundreds of franchise owners and developed a franchise sales strategy that resulted in the doubling of franchise units from 300 to 600+. Her sales team consistently met or bettered 26 quarterly goals under her management.
Personally, Flo brings high energy and a strong desire to assist individuals everywhere as they seek to better their lives and work in today’s volatile world.
She acts as a Partner and Change-Agent, helping individuals to identify and deal intelligently with obstacles, and then surmount them.
Flo is an enthusiastic national speaker. She has delivered a Keynote Address at the US Coast Guard Academy, New London, CT, on the occasion of the Hewitt Speaking and Writing Contests.
She is Author of two books, Wisdom of the 8 Bowls and Stop Selling: Start Clicking!
