Welcome Coaches!
As a Certified Coach with over six years experience, and a great fan of my own Mentor Coach , Andrea J Lee, I am often asked to mentor other Coaches that are looking for a comfortable way to sell themselves and their services.
If selling is something you're uncomfortable with...I definately understand.
I was both curious and nervous about selling in my younger days.
In fact, when I saw a book about sales on a shelf...I was afraid to reach for it!
I was an educator at that time in my life, and undoubtedly I had associated the word 'sales' with manipulation and confrontation. I also thought selling was about forcing someone to do something they didn't want to do.
Now I absolutely know that this is not the case...not when selling is done with care.
In an effort to help my fellow Coaches feel more comfortable with this 'selling thing' I wrote my first book, entitled:
Stop Selling...Start Clicking!
The book is based on the very successful sales process that I developed during a long career with Sylvan Learning Systems, Inc.
In my role as VP of Franchise Sales, my sales team and I doubled the franchise system from 300 to 750 units.
We did this by caring for each other, caring for our prospective customers, and using the techniques described in my book.
So, what is this 'click' thing?
The 'click' in the title does not refer to a mouseclick...but rather to a human click.
You know that feeling you get when you meet someone interesting for the first time...and wish to know them better?
Or that feeling you get when you just seem to 'click' with someone you're talking to?
That's the 'click' that stars in this book.
I call it 'The Magic Click!'
It is the click that happens when you make a true connection.
